Product Review - Innisfree Long Wear Cushion

I am a convert when it comes to cushions. The quick, easy, convenient and travel friendly packaging was enough to convince me into the craze. 
Innisfree's water based Long Wear Cushion was the first of many cushions I had ever purchased and fell head over heels in love with. In saying that - I decided to do a review for you all so you can see the coverage and how it wears through the day. 

The brand Innisfree have two available cushion formulas, 'Ampoule Intense Cushion' Click Here, which caters more towards those with dry skin and then the 'Long Wear Cushion' Click Here, which caters for all skin types. 

Before delving into the review I do have to mention that along with most Kbeauty foundations, cushions and bb creams, Innisfree doesn't defer from the lack of shade options. There are three shades available in both cushion formulas; Ivory, Light Beige and Natural Beige. I, being about a Mac NC 30 - 40 purchased Natural Beige and found it to be a bit too light, especially since I found that the Innisfree cushions come a lot lighter than normal.

Trial

Initial

Before - Five minutes after skin care regime. 

• Sunscreen and eye cream applied - no primers. 
• Hyper pigmentation, healing blemishes and discolouration
• Darkness around the eye area

After - One light layer and then focusing on certain areas, my temples, under eye area and cheeks.

• Medium coverage - Very buildable, conceals blemishes, hyper pigmentation and discolouration
• Natural finish
• Sets well
• Feels very lightweight
• Easy to blend
• Quick to apply - did my entire face and down my neck within the minute. 

Makeup Of The Day - No setting sprays or setting powders applied. 

3 Hours Wear

• Everything remains concealed - blemishes, pores and discolouration
• A natural shine is apparent along my four head
• Still remains as a natural finish - no caking or creasing
• Still feels lightweight

8 Hours Wear

• Slight oiliness along four head
• A few blemishes are starting to become apparent on my cheeks, however the blemishes on my temples still remain concealed
• No caking or creasing
• Still feels lightweight

Final Verdict

As you all already know from my introduction, this is one cushion I absolutely love. 

Not only is the whole packaging convenient and time efficient, the formula is pretty dope too. 

It is completely buildable, low maintenance and light weight. 

No matter the amount of layers I applied to further conceal areas I found that it felt so lightweight that I was comfortable enough to touch my face through out the day (you know those heavy foundations that make you completely aware you have makeup on... yeah well no, this definitely never felt that way).

It fascinates me how good the coverage is and yet how natural it made my skin look. 

I recommend that if you do have oily combination skin and you plan to wear this foundation for a longer duration than 8 hours that you either set your oily areas with some sort of powder or you blot and touch up throughout the day. 

The one let down I do have to mention is the colour selection. Not only does it have only three colours available (almost making it impossible with anyone with a deeper skin tone than Beige to purchase) but it also runs lighter than most Kbeauty cushions.
