Craft Time With The Kids - Animal Masks

Last week Miss Madeleine and I got up to a bit of creativity, one of them being these cute animal masks. 

These animal face masks were purchased from Bunnings for $10AUD each. They are located in the "Crafts" section of the store. 

In each pack you get your animal mask, a large stick to hold the mask (with adhesive to stick on later), a set of paints and a paint brush. 


Maddy was so excited when she saw me setting up everything, she couldn't stop jumping and yelling "Paint! Paint!" Noted: Miss Madeleine loves paint!

 I have to admit, my OCD side of me came out and I had to help Maddy a bit with painting... I couldn't stand that muddy color that was forming from mixing all the paint colours together. 
I VOW: From this day onwards I will allow her to unleash all her creativity and make all the mud paint she wants. 

 Maddy had so much fun playing around the house with the masks once they were fully dry.

DIY Macrame Feather Earrings

For the past few weeks I've been trying to expand my knowledge and learn some Macrame art, what were the results? Peacefulness. Honestly, I'd turn on a calming playlist on Spotify and I would spend an hour just tying these knots and creating Macrame art. In the process of learning Macrame I decided to combine my enthusiasm for jewellery making with it. Thus enters this DIY - Macrame feather earrings. Take or leave what you want this tutorial and make this accessory your very own customised piece.
