So a few posts ago I had blogged about a new theme my husband and I came up with called "12 Surprises"( CLICK HERE to read the post). For the first month of 2015 the envelope "Picnic At The Park" was picked by Miss Madeleine. So last weekend picnic at the park we went! The park we had chosen was awesome enough to have a beach right in front which we enjoyed for the rest of the day! James Nomming on some sand... lol Madeleine collecting some "shells" (pebbles and rocks... lol) Sure to say, this was a wonderful way to start our weekend, exhausted from the salt water and burnt from the sun... but was totally worth it! Last week Maddy and I decided to play with one of her gifts she got for Christmas off her Aunt and Uncle. I was so excited when I saw her unwrap this gift because I've seen these in Kmart and have wanted to buy it for Maddy for the longest time!  DIY Sparkle Mosaics Clutch Purse!  The kit includes: A Clutch Purse (with a stencil as a guideline already printed on the clutch) 4 Sheets of Jewel Stickers to decorate the clutch  As I was watching Madeleine making the clutch I noticed how much it really tests and exercises their hand and eye co ordination.  I was also surprised to see how meticulous my daughter was at making sure she put the sticker jewel on the right way... in the right angle.  The finished product!  Maddy was so excited that she had created her very own handbag (she's super girly). She has been walking around the house all diva like with the clutch in her hand all week! Thanks for comin...

Last week Miss Madeleine and I got up to a bit of creativity, one of them being these cute animal masks.  These animal face masks were purchased from Bunnings for $10AUD each. They are located in the "Crafts" section of the store.  In each pack you get your animal mask, a large stick to hold the mask (with adhesive to stick on later), a set of paints and a paint brush.  Maddy was so excited when she saw me setting up everything, she couldn't stop jumping and yelling "Paint! Paint!" Noted: Miss Madeleine loves paint!  I have to admit, my OCD side of me came out and I had to help Maddy a bit with painting... I couldn't stand that muddy color that was forming from mixing all the paint colours together.  I VOW: From this day onwards I will allow her to unleash all her creativity and make all the mud paint she wants.   Maddy had so much fun playing around the house with the masks once they were fully dry. If you've read my previous post about my 2015 New Years Resolutions, you would know about my families new "12 Surprises!" activity.  To sum it all up,  it's pretty much where my husband and I compiled 12 different family activities, individually placed them in their own envelope and at the begining of each month we pick an envelope at random - where by we do the family activity one day during that month. It's a great way of us to make sure we do something family orientated and really get to bond.  To make the 12 Surprises I used: Blank Cards - Kmart $2.00 Blank Envelopes - Kmart $2.00 Glitter Washi Tape - Kmart $4.00 (pk 2) Labeller  Using my labeller I printed out all the activities.  I then peeled the sticker off the labels and put them into their individual cards. Placed them into their individual blank envelopes and sealed them with the glitter washi tape for some decor.  I am so excited to see what we will ran...
